Enjoy the special taste of Chicken Inasal and other Filipino dishes at the J. Lo’s Inasal! It’s owned by Ms. Jacky Lo, a pure Filipino who originated from the City of Bacolod. The business started in a branch located at the Maguinhawa St. in UP Village, Quezon City on August 8, 2008. Slowly it turned into an even more popular restaurant that made them expand to several branches in the country.


The restaurant is positioned at the hi-way of the village which made them visible to the entire passersby. They have fully air-conditioned room that has an area for the smokers and non-smokers. Walls are painted in bright yellow, while the ceiling is furnished with a native “banig” design. The Masks or “Mascara’s” are displayed in the walls of their bistro as a sign of their tradition called the Bacolod Mascara Festival.


J. Lo’s Inasal offers a wide variety of foods like Chicken Inasal (Roasted Chicken), Grilled Pork, Grilled & Sizzling Seafoods, Pancits, Soups and Vegetables. I have tasted three of their best sellers which are the Kansi, Liempo, and the Chicken Inasal Pecho (Roasted Chicken Breast).

Kansi, is a spicy mixed tastes of Bulalo & Sinigang that will surely salivate you even just by looking at the image. But truly, this is one of the tastiest soups I’ve ever tasted. Nobody escapes the taste of this very popular dish from Bacolod City. This is already good for 2 - 3 persons.


Another dish is the Liempo. We all know that liempo has a saltish taste & is thicker than the usual, but theirs is slightly sweetened, much thinner and even tastier! It comes with the price of P95 and it is already good for 2-3 persons.


Finally, aside from the Kansi & Liempo I also get to taste their special Chicken Inasal Pecho (Roasted Chicken Breast). Inasal has been very popular in the city today but J. Lo’s Inasal has an extraordinary taste to offer. With the amount of P88 you’ll be able to relish their juicy Chicken Inasal Pecho (Roasted Chicken Breast).


There are 3 different kinds of sauces that you can use to savor their chicken, they have the vinegar, soy sauce, and chicken oil. Chicken oil which is mixed with achuete that has a surprising taste compared from the other two. This goes very well with soy sauce, calamansi and chili for a spicier experience.


All your money’s worth will absolutely pay off especially now that they have a free dessert promo for every meal you order. They also have a parking areas allotted for their customers. Their restaurants are open from 11:00AM - 2:00AM everyday. Free food delivery services within the area are accepted with the minimum rate of P150. They are also accepting party reservations & caterings in all their branches.
